DembeLaw was born from a simple but urgent observation: Uganda has 45 million people, a Constitution full of rights, and a justice system that most citizens can never access. The barriers are real — lawyers cost money, courts are far away, and legal language is confusing even for educated people.
We are a team of technologists, law students, community workers, and legal professionals who believe that freedom — Dembe in Luganda — is meaningless unless you know how to use it.
